Last updated: August 3, 2026

Sara's Swim School ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through sarasswimschool.com and our booking process, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you submit a lesson request or contact form, we collect information you provide directly, which may include:

  • Parent/guardian name, email address, phone number, and mailing address

  • Student (child) name and age

  • Prior swim lesson history and any special assistance, medical, or comfort needs you choose to share

  • Preferred lesson days, times, and package selections

  • Payment information, processed securely through our third-party payment processor (we do not store full card numbers ourselves)

We also automatically collect limited technical information (such as browser type and general location) through our website platform, Wix, for site functionality and analytics.

How We Use Information

  • To match you with an available, appropriate instructor

  • To schedule, confirm, and communicate about lessons

  • To process payment once a match is confirmed

  • To respond to questions, special assistance needs, or support requests

  • To maintain business records and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing of Information

We share information only as needed to run the business:

  • With the independent contractor instructor assigned to your lessons (name, contact info, student details, availability, and any special assistance notes needed to teach safely)

  • With our website, scheduling, and payment service providers (currently Wix and its integrated apps), who process data on our behalf

  • If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of a student or instructor

Children's Privacy

Our services are for children, but our website is directed at parents and guardians, who submit all student information themselves. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has submitted information directly to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Choices & Rights

  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.

  • Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (for example, California residents may have rights under the CCPA).

  • You may unsubscribe from any marketing emails at any time using the link provided in those emails.

Data Retention & Security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
