Sara's Swim School

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of sarasswimschool.com and any lessons booked through Sara's Swim School ("we," "us," "our"). By submitting a lesson request or booking, you agree to these Terms.

Our Service

Sara's Swim School connects parents/guardians seeking private swim instruction with independent, qualified swim instructors. We facilitate the matching, scheduling, and payment process; instructors are independent contractors, not employees of Sara's Swim School, and are individually responsible for the instruction they provide.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any minor student you register, or otherwise authorized to make decisions on that student's behalf, to book lessons.

Booking Process

You submit a lesson request specifying lesson length, package, availability, and student information.
We match you with an available instructor based on your preferences.
Payment is collected only after a match is confirmed — not at the time you submit your request.
Lesson packages (4, 8, or 12 lessons) are valid for one month from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment

Payment is due upon instructor match confirmation and is processed through our third-party payment provider. Prices for lesson packages are as listed on our website at the time of booking and are subject to change for future bookings.

Cancellations & Refunds

See our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Swimming and swim instruction carry inherent risks. Before a student's first lesson, the parent/guardian must review and sign our Liability Waiver & Release of Claims. Participation in lessons is conditioned on a signed waiver being on file.

Conduct & Safety

We reserve the right to decline service, end a lesson relationship, or remove access to our services for conduct that is unsafe, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate toward instructors, staff, or other clients.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sara's Swim School's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the lessons at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law.

Independent Contractor Instructors

Instructors are independent contractors who set their own manner and means of teaching within our general guidelines. Sara's Swim School is not vicariously liable for the acts or omissions of independent contractor instructors to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Sara's Swim School is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where a different state's consumer protection laws mandatorily apply to your transaction. [Note: the specific governing state should be finalized once the business's state of organization is confirmed.]

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
